The Testing Process

Jack creates a new account using a personal email address, claims the sign-up bonus, completes a standard play session, makes at least one purchase at a mid-tier coin package level, and submits a redemption request. The review is written after the redemption completes, not before.
The Six Rating Criteria
1. Licensing and Legitimacy

Jack verifies the legal entity behind every platform, checks for a physical registered address, and reads the full Terms of Service before listing.
Platforms that have previously blocked redemptions without cause, changed their terms silently to the detriment of players, or failed to respond to player complaints are permanently excluded from JackSweeps.com.
2. Sign-up Bonus Value
20%Jack evaluates the sign-up bonus on three dimensions: the total Sweeps Coins included with no purchase required, the ease of claiming (no buried steps, no required purchases to unlock), and the time to credit after registration. A sign-up bonus that includes zero SC scores lower than one that includes SC even if the Gold Coin total is larger.
This criterion is weighted heavily because the sign-up bonus is the first real interaction a player has with a platform. A casino that front-loads genuine value demonstrates confidence in its product.
3. Purchase Bonus Value
20%Jack calculates the SC per dollar ratio at the most common purchase tier (typically the $10 to $25 range) and benchmarks it against the current market average. Platforms that offer significantly below-market SC per dollar are marked down regardless of the Gold Coin amounts included.
Reload bonuses, loyalty purchase bonuses, and time-limited purchase promotions are tracked over a 30-day period and factored into the overall score for this criterion.

8%Jack contacts support with a standard query at each platform and records the response time and quality of the response. Live chat is tested where available. Email support is tested at platforms without live chat.
The lowest weighting of the six criteria because in Jack's experience, player outcomes at sweepstakes casinos are driven far more by the first five factors than by the quality of support interactions.
How Scores Are Combined
Each criterion is scored out of 10 and multiplied by its weighting percentage. The final score is the sum of all six weighted scores, giving a maximum of 10.0. Star ratings are assigned based on the final score: 9.0 to 10.0 earns five stars, 7.5 to 8.9 earns four and a half stars, 6.0 to 7.4 earns four stars, and below 6.0 earns three and a half stars or lower. No casino scoring below 6.0 is listed on JackSweeps.com.
